Please see photos for condition details. Hardcover, original marbled paper covered boards half bound in leather to corners and spine. The leather is quite worn, particularly along the edges and corners and is also cracked at both exterior hinges. These exterior hinge cracks also carry through to the interior binding. The front pastedown shows were a large label was removed and is also ex-library markings which are the words "discarded" stampled on front and rear pastedowns, as well as the title page. The title page also has a embossed seal near the word DAUGHTER showing this book was originally part of the Philo Society of Pennsylvania College. The text portion of the interior is still quite tight and pages are secure. The pages are toned due to age and there are scattered foxing spots present.

Yesterday's Book Shop is a small, family-owned establishment. The store first opened in Maryland in 1966 under the name The Collector's Corner, which mainly dealt in older books, stamps and assorted ephemera. In 1975 the name was changed to Yesterday's Book Shop when the main focus became only books and printed matter.
