Acerca del autor
Dr. Rajiv Tiwari is currently Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati since 1997. He worked in Regional Engineering College, Hamirpur (Himachal Pradesh), India, for a year during 1996–1997. He completed his Ph.D. from IIT Kanpur in the area of Rotor Dynamics in 1997. He worked as Research Officer for one year in 2001 in University of Wales, Swansea, UK, and as DAAD Fellow in Technical University of Darmstadt Germany in 2011 for two months. Dr. Rajiv Tiwari works in the area of rotor dynamics and design of rolling bearings. He has more than 250 papers in international journals and conferences. He has successfully organised national and international conferences and short-term courses in the area of vibrations and rotor dynamics.
Dr. Rammohan Y S is currently Professor and Head of Aerospace Engineering Department at B. M. S. College of Engineering, Bengaluru, India. Before this he served as Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at B. M. S. College of Engineering for over 25 years. He obtained his B.E. (Mechanical) and M.Tech. (Machine Design) from B. M. S. College of Engineering and Ph.D. from the Aerospace Department of Indian Institute of Technology-Madras, Chennai. His research areas of interests are fretting fatigue, finite element methods, composite materials, and functionally graded materials. He has published over 20 research papers in reputed international journals and proceedings. He was the reviewer for journals from ASME, Elsevier-Materials Today, and others.Prof. Ashish K Darpe is Postgraduate in Machine Design from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur. He did his doctoral research at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi in the area of rotor dynamics. He is currently Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Delhi. His research interests include NVH, rotor dynamics, condition monitoring, vibration, and noise control.
Dr. Ashish K Darpe is currently working as Professor of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Delhi. He obtained his Ph.D. in the area of Rotor Dynamics at IIT Delhi. He has been pursuing his research interests in the area of vibrations, rotor dynamics, machinery fault diagnosis and prognosis and noise control. He has published over 111 research articles and has supervised 12 Ph.D. theses. He has been the project investigator for various R&D and consultancy projects funded by defence R&D labs, private industry, and government funding agencies.
Dr. V. Arun Kumar, currently working as Chief Technology Menor, at Dheya Technologies Ltd., Bengaluru, and as Adjunct Professor in BMS College of Engineering, Bengaluru, has obtained his B.E. Mechanical Engineering, from Bangalore University, M.Sc. Engg. from Madras University, and Ph.D. from IIT, Madras. He worked in Propulsion Division, National Aerospace Laboratories for 34 years and retired as Director Grade Scientist / Head, Propulsion Division. His major areas of research interests include vibration reduction in rotating machineries, advanced bearing/dampers systems, etc. He has to his credits ten patents granted (another five under processing) and over 100 publications. He has received National Design award from NDRF in Mechanical Engineering and Biren Roy award from Aeronautical Society of India, apart from outstanding performance award from NAL.
Dr. Mayank Tiwari is currently Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Patna, since 2013. He worked in General Electric from 2001 to 2013 in the Global Research and Development Division and the Aviation Division in the John F Welch Technology Centre Bengaluru. He completed his Ph.D. from IIT Delhi in the area of nonlinear Rotor Dynamics in 1998 after which he worked as Postdoctoral Fellow in the Acoustic and Dynamics Laboratory of the Ohio State University USA. Dr. Mayank Tiwari works in the area of rotor dynamics and tribology. He has more than 30 papers in international journals and patents in USA, France, and India in the area of vacuum tribology, X-ray tube rotors, wind turbine gear box. Dr. Mayank Tiwari also has 2 design registrations in the India Patent Office.

Derecho al desistimiento
Si es un consumidor, puede rescindir el contrato de acuerdo con lo siguiente. Por consumidor se entiende cualquier persona física que actúe con fines ajenos a su actividad comercial, empresarial, oficio o profesión.
Información sobre el derecho de desistimiento
Derecho legal de desistimiento
Tiene derecho a rescindir este contrato en un plazo de 14 días sin dar ningún motivo.
El periodo de desistimiento vencerá a los 14 días desde que usted, o un tercero que no sea el transportista e indicado por usted, adquiera la posesión física del último bien o del último lote o pieza.
Para ejercer el derecho de desistimiento, complete de forma electrónica y envíe una declaración clara en nuestro sitio web, desde "Mis compras" en "Mi cuenta". Le enviaremos sin demora un acuse de recibo de dicho desistimiento a través de un soporte duradero (por ejemplo, por correo electrónico).
Para cumplir con el plazo de desistimiento, basta con que envíe su comunicación relativa al ejercicio del derecho de desistimiento antes de que venza el periodo de desistimiento.
Efectos del desistimiento
Si rescinde este contrato, le reembolsaremos todos los pagos que hayamos recibido de usted, incluidos los gastos de envío (excepto los gastos adicionales que surjan si elige un tipo de envío que no sea el tipo de envío estándar más económico que ofrecemos).
Podemos hacer una deducción del reembolso por la pérdida de valor de cualquier bien suministrado, si la pérdida es el resultado de una manipulación innecesaria por su parte.
Efectuaremos el reembolso sin demoras indebidas y, a más tardar, 14 días después de que se nos informe de su decisión de rescindir este contrato.
Efectuaremos el reembolso utilizando el mismo medio de pago que utilizó para la transacción inicial, a menos que haya acordado expresamente lo contrario; en cualquier caso, no incurrirá en ningún cargo como resultado de dicho reembolso.
Podremos retener el reembolso hasta que hayamos recibido los bienes o hasta que nos haya presentado una prueba de que los ha devuelto, lo que ocurra primero.
Deberá devolver los bienes o entregarlos a AHA-BUCH GmbH, Einbeck, Germany, sin demoras indebidas y, en cualquier caso, en un plazo máximo de 14 días a partir del día en que nos comunique su desistimiento del presente contrato. El plazo se cumple si devuelve la mercancía antes de que venza el periodo de 14 días. Tendrá que asumir los gastos directos de devolución de los bienes. Usted solo es responsable de la disminución del valor de los bienes como resultado de una manipulación distinta a la necesaria para establecer la naturaleza, las características y el funcionamiento de los bienes.
Excepciones al derecho de desistimiento
El derecho de desistimiento no se aplica a lo siguiente:
- La entrega de periódicos, diarios o revistas, con la excepción de los contratos de suscripción; y
- El suministro de contenido digital que no se proporcione en un soporte tangible (por ejemplo, en un CD o DVD) si, al hacer el pedido, aceptó que podíamos empezar a entregarlo y que no podría desistir una vez iniciada la entrega.
