A few months earlier, Estelle changed her will and unknown to everyone, named Voss as beneficiary. It's a complication that sees him as a possible suspect and he is removed from the case. Without a team to help clear his name, Voss cons Eddie, a down and out tech guru, to help. However, Eddie's passion for technology is distracting and Voss wishes he hadn't let himself get sucked into this whirlpool of technical sludge. Eddie develops a phone app, creating a virtual time machine that can backtrack a suspect's movements. Voss unsure of his team's progress, agrees to a hit and run hack of the police data base. Voss insists Eddie the vagrant cleans up and moves inside. They might share an Odd Couple dynamic, but it's their competitive spirit that drives the investigation forward. Voss's judgment is clouded by refusing to see anyone other than Luke Peters being the reason behind the continuing murder count. Peters was never seen as someone dripping with morals and Voss believes that whatever got them killed, is solely down to him. When another murder victim has links to Estelle, her mother Donna, makes Voss see past the romantic image he has of her. Donna, a forensic accountant insists joining him to piece the case together. The Peters' company, Estelle International appears to be built on the fashion industry. However, Voss and his companions are finding that the business reaches deeper. Supplying modelling talent to everything from high fashion, to the porn industry and even prostitution is a driver behind Estelle Peters' wealth. However, her it's her skills as a procurer, that have made her influential across all political and business spectrums. No longer the wide-eyed girl Voss married all those years ago. Estelle Peters had become a woman of power and influence. Convinced that someone above Superintendent Una Knight is causing undue interference in the Peters' case. And unable to do anything about it, Voss calls on a mob boss for information. He learns that no hit has been ordered for the killings. and a little more than he wanted to. Eddie is not who he said he is. Bullets found in two high class escorts have come from the weapon Voss turned in when suspended, however investigating officers have vision of the Assistant Commissioner pilfering the pistol. Arresting an Assistant Commissioner is a big news event, and the police media department decide to demonstrate their organisation is proactive in their quest toward equal opportunity. They insist Detective Sergeant, Lucy Nguyen make the arrest, and the press have been invited to offer live broadcast. Before the case concludes, Canberra has eleven people murdered by two separate killers and a cold case unearthed.…

OMG, finished Voss this afternoon. Seriously, this is right up there with renowned authors. Left me guessing right until the end, I'm in awe of how you do this and I will be the first one to brag that I know this creative man. In regard to the text, it was fabulous with references to Bunnings, Salvos, Vinnies, Sex in the City, drop boxes ectera. Loved the characters and the plot. Could not put this down, actually resented any interruption to my reading time lol. Voss is definitely a winner in my book. Certainly wasn't too wordy, I loved the detail you included, felt like I was right amongst it. Congratulations, this is my favourite piece of your writing.
Bloody hell, you finished with me wanting more. Start writing the sequel as soon as you can.

Tiene derecho a rescindir este contrato en un plazo de 14 días sin dar ningún motivo.
El periodo de desistimiento vencerá a los 14 días desde que usted, o un tercero que no sea el transportista e indicado por usted, adquiera la posesión física del último bien o del último lote o pieza.
Para ejercer el derecho de desistimiento, complete de forma electrónica y envíe una declaración clara en nuestro sitio web, desde "Mis compras" en "Mi cuenta". Le enviaremos sin demora un acuse de recibo de dicho desistimiento a través de un soporte duradero (por ejemplo, por correo electrónico).
Para cumplir con el plazo de desistimiento, basta con que envíe su comunicación relativa al ejercicio del derecho de desistimiento antes de que venza el periodo de desistimiento.
Efectos del desistimiento
Si rescinde este contrato, le reembolsaremos todos los pagos que hayamos recibido de usted, incluidos los gastos de envío (excepto los gastos adicionales que surjan si elige un tipo de envío que no sea el tipo de envío estándar más económico que ofrecemos).
Podemos hacer una deducción del reembolso por la pérdida de valor de cualquier bien suministrado, si la pérdida es el resultado de una manipulación innecesaria por su parte.
Efectuaremos el reembolso sin demoras indebidas y, a más tardar, 14 días después de que se nos informe de su decisión de rescindir este contrato.
Efectuaremos el reembolso utilizando el mismo medio de pago que utilizó para la transacción inicial, a menos que haya acordado expresamente lo contrario; en cualquier caso, no incurrirá en ningún cargo como resultado de dicho reembolso.
Podremos retener el reembolso hasta que hayamos recibido los bienes o hasta que nos haya presentado una prueba de que los ha devuelto, lo que ocurra primero.
Deberá devolver los bienes o entregarlos a AHA-BUCH GmbH, Einbeck, Germany, sin demoras indebidas y, en cualquier caso, en un plazo máximo de 14 días a partir del día en que nos comunique su desistimiento del presente contrato. El plazo se cumple si devuelve la mercancía antes de que venza el periodo de 14 días. Tendrá que asumir los gastos directos de devolución de los bienes. Usted solo es responsable de la disminución del valor de los bienes como resultado de una manipulación distinta a la necesaria para establecer la naturaleza, las características y el funcionamiento de los bienes.
Excepciones al derecho de desistimiento
El derecho de desistimiento no se aplica a lo siguiente:
- La entrega de periódicos, diarios o revistas, con la excepción de los contratos de suscripción; y
- El suministro de contenido digital que no se proporcione en un soporte tangible (por ejemplo, en un CD o DVD) si, al hacer el pedido, aceptó que podíamos empezar a entregarlo y que no podría desistir una vez iniciada la entrega.
