In the crystal literature, a lot is mentioned about how crystals work with color, but very little is mentioned about the different energies and expressions relating to crystal structure… but I am setting out to correct this now, because structure is important… and so very, very useful.

Crystal shapes and structures are important, because they show us how things fit together… or don’t… especially on an energy level.

And as many spiritual writers state, the more ordered and coherent something is on an energy level… the more consciousness it can hold and express…

The more coherent and organised we can make our own energy… the higher and more expansive energies and vibrations we can tune into and ground.

And crystals... once we have a clear understanding of structure and how it works... are brilliant at helping us achieve this, because the vibration of a crystal allows us to re-tune our own energy field to a new level of coherence.

In this Book, we will be laying down the foundation for an understanding of crystal structure... especially in the way it focuses and modifies color and vibration... in the same way that a colored filter will change and modify the light passing through it. From this new understanding can come new ways of working with crystal energies, new ways to integrate them into our lives for wellbeing and personal development.

Crystals and their qualities and powers have long been subjects of study, resulting in a body of knowledge and lore that most folk who work with crystals tend to accept without question.

After all, it’s received wisdom. We know (through traditional beliefs) that this crystal is good for that condition; this or that method of deploying these crystals is most effective.

There is of course nothing wrong with this approach. It’s how knowledge generally is learned, disseminated and applied. We rely on the experiences of those in the past. They’ve tested it out, and these are the results. We learn what works and pass it on.

But every now and then, someone comes along whose job it is to jolt us out of our complacent knowing; someone who challenges our received wisdom, what we think we know. In my view, Brian Parsons is one such person. A disruptor. He takes what we think we know, and asks us to look at it differently, work with it differently, experience it differently. With the approach he outlines in this book, he asks us to think beyond tradition, outside the box.

And his is such a creative approach. Innovative. He takes what we (think we) know about crystals and asks us to dive deeper. In doing this, he helps us to expand our understanding of how we can work with crystals, and how they work with us.

And as an intuitive myself, I can hear those crystals cheering, offering up prayers of thanksgiving and gratitude – because at long last, using the techniques Brian reveals in this book, we can find ways to understand crystals better, and open up channels of communication with them previously not available to us.
