Unscripted Silence
One scandal broke his world. The North Atlantic will either mend him or bury him.
Julian Vance was the "Digital Prince" of New York, a visionary filmmaker who lived his life through a lens and measured his worth in metrics. But when a devastating leak shatters his curated reputation, Julian flees the cameras and the crowds, driving until the pavement ends at the jagged, frozen edge of the Gaspé Peninsula.
In the shadow of the Percé Rock, Julian meets Elias-a stoic, weathered restorer who understands the soul of stone and the honesty of timber. Elias doesn't care about Julian's millions of followers; he cares about the "Atmospheric Pressure" of the coming winter and whether the man standing before him has the grit to survive it.
Together, they set out to build a sanctuary against the elements, hauling granite and carving cedar as a North Atlantic low-pressure system threatens to erase the ridge. For Julian, every blister and every bruise is a step away from the "Digital Prince" and a step toward something real. But as the snow closes in and his past begins to hunt him down, he realizes that the hardest thing to build isn't a house-it's a life that doesn't need a filter.
From acclaimed author Marcus Andrews comes a raw, visceral LGBTQ+ romance about the power of the "Long Take," the beauty of manual labor, and the profound intimacy found in the Unscripted Silence.

Acerca del autor
Marcus Andrews
Marcus Andrews is an author dedicated to exploring the intersection of identity, resilience, and romance through contemporary LGBTQ+ fiction. His work often centers on queer joy and the complexities of finding one's "chosen family" in the modern world.
A proud resident of Detroit, Michigan, Marcus draws deep inspiration from the city's storied architecture and the tenacious spirit of its communities. When he isn't at his desk, he can often be found scouting new local settings for his novels-from the neon-lit corridors of the Majestic Theatre to the quiet, sun-drenched reading rooms of the Detroit Public Library.
Marcus is an active participant in the vibrant Southeast Michigan literary scene, frequently engaging with local organizations like Affirmations and LGBT Detroit to advocate for queer voices in publishing. He believes that every person deserves to see themselves as the hero of their own story, a mission that drives every page he writes.
He currently lives in a historic Detroit neighborhood with his partner and a small library of first editions that is slowly taking over their living room.
