Twenty-one proven strategies to bridge the gap between peak performance and personal fulfillment by embracing uncomfort
You can settle for a life you're not fully satisfied or aligned with in order to avoid uncomfort (the uneasiness of change or uncertainty). But it comes at the dangerous cost of a deeper discomfort--a haunting sense of shame, disappointment, and regret about the life you could have lived, knowing you could have been happier, fitter, wealthier, and more confident and experienced deeper fulfillment along the way.
In the end, you're going to be uncomfortable either way.
Instead of always choosing the easy way, caving to instant gratification, and avoiding short-term uncomfort, you can learn to embrace it to unlock lifelong joy, new skills and confidence, and life-changing experiences that are only accessible to those who refuse to settle for complacency.
Keynote speaker and high-performance coach Brett Eaton has helped hundreds of audiences, companies, and clients reach thousands of goals, run more than a dozen marathons, start more than two hundred businesses, generate millions of dollars in revenue, and find more peace and fulfillment by defining success on their own terms and aligning daily action with long-term visions.
Developed in collaboration with top performers in a variety of industries, this book will reveal Brett's revolutionary process for self-transformation, including how to:
● Shift from minimizing risk to minimizing regret
● Avoid the three Confidence Criminals and start leveraging fear as fuel
● Resist hitting the "F*ck It" button and negotiating your personal contracts
● Harness urgency and build unstoppable momentum
Packed with actionable advice, relatable stories, and Brett's signature style of tough love with a big hug at the end, Uncomfortable Either Way is the ultimate guide to stop bullsh*tting yourself and finally choose the life that you've always secretly wanted.

Acerca del autor
Brett Eaton is a sought-after keynote speaker and high-performance coach. Over the past seventeen years, Brett has collaborated with top performers in a variety of industries to develop unique methodologies and a personalized approach that have helped hundreds of audiences, companies, and clients make the bold decisions that have allowed them to reach thousands of personally fulfilling goals, start more than two hundred businesses, generate millions of dollars in revenue, and unlock newfound standards and fulfillment in their lives.
Brett doesn't just speak about high performance and the importance of embracing the uncomfortable--he lives and breathes it. When he's not on stage inspiring, Brett can be found competing out on the beach volleyball courts with his wife or training for his next physical challenge. Brett has rock-climbed up Mount Washington, completed a solo marathon wearing a twenty-five-pound weighted vest, hiked twenty-seven miles and accumulated 29,029 feet of elevation in thirty-six hours, and for the past four years, he's completed 911 burpees on September 11 to honor the victims of 9/11. Brett doesn't just inspire through his words. He's a man on a mission to seek out the uncomfortable and maximize fulfillment.
He currently lives in Florida with his wife, successful entrepreneur Anne Mahlum.
