Awakening

Do not be afraid of your difficulties.
Do not wish you could be in other circumstances than you are.
For when you have made the best of an adversity,
it becomes the stepping stone to a splendid opportunity.
— Helena Petrovna Blavatsky

The stirrings of a new level of consciousness have begun for many individuals; this is commonly referred to as awakening. This awakening is the inner signal telling us that it is time to delve deeper into the mystery of life and remember who we really are and why we are here. An awakening also unveils the ability to manifest and tap into the true gifts with which we come into this lifetime. First and foremost, it rekindles our knowing and conscious contact with the God within us. These new insights are our birthrights from the divine creative Source.

No matter what your religious beliefs or cultural practices are, no matter what you call the creative impulse — God, Buddha, Shakti, Shiva, or Allah — we all have the same opportunity to go beyond the limits of those beliefs and of those cultural practices. The challenge is to direct our paths so that we gain more and more awareness about the true nature of our being, our true self, our oneness with all.

Each inquiry and inspiration from our souls brings us closer to figuring the whole thing out — if we are ready to know. With each new awareness, and as we continue to investigate and seek more information about the meaning of these stirrings from our souls, we may experience the excitement of discovering this new information. But it isn't new! It has been known throughout the millennia and taught by great sages, wisdom teachers, philosophers, and spiritualists all along. The origins were often wrongly interpreted or concealed until the age of man allowed it without fear of punishment.

The Secret, which I really enjoyed, just hits the tip of the spiritual iceberg. It introduces a new way of perceiving and directing the course of our lives. It encourages us to learn how to use our innate energies and vibrations to create better circumstances for ourselves. It focuses a lot on manifesting material things, such as a new car or home or attractive mate. It leaves a lot out regarding the power of our thoughts and feelings to create our entire lives. The secret of The Secret is that it isn't actually a secret. So the real secret remains, a secret, yet one that is fully available to all who seek it. Unless you really start to investigate and change some outmoded beliefs, you risk being an unknowing creating force, and the outcomes could go either way.

The spiritual search I've found myself on has brought me the realization that every dream I have is being created, and the more excited I get about it, the closer it is at hand. As you get warmer and closer to doctrines you once believed to be concealed, you also begin to feel an enthusiasm that will overflow. For me, that enthusiasm sometimes borders on giddiness. The secret is much bigger than the movie called The Secret could ever make palpable. It is more than mere words can even explain or verbalize; words are only symbols that, in reality, limit the limitless, the infinite, and the eternal. All the creative impulses of the heavens are within each and every one of us. All you have to do is feel it with every cell of your being and on every level of thought.

For me, the assurance that the cond
