I've been consciously doing abstract art since I was 15 years old, and have been making art since I can't remember when. So much of what I have done has been lost, stolen or destroyed that I'm hard pressed to remember. However, here is an overall group from 1964 to 1999, starting with abstractions of nature in a representational mode to non-objective works. I have found the joy of surprise to be the greatest reward, and the one I pursue most diligently. This can be done truly without segregation of vehicles, modes, or concepts, with the end goal being satisfied application of my talents, no matter the venue. ~ Ed Samuels
