Paperback. "GET THEM ALL HERE NOW" He growled to the man on the other side of the phone before shoving it deep into his pocket. I couldn't make it out but he grumbled something under his breath. You could tell he was stressed out of his mind. Whatever possessed the Alphas' to believe one wolf could be the Beta of four Alphas is crazy. He then ran a frustrated hand through his short brown hair. When the light hit his face I could see he had simple brown eyes. He was by no means ugly, quite the opposite actually. His face and abs were chiseled. His arms were thick with muscle. He had a gorgeous smile. He looked like a dream to most. He may resemble a brute but he could also be soft. He was known for his kindness. He was shirtless showing off every spec of his abs and pecs for the world as they glisten. He did have a pair of black shorts on the universal sign of I just went for a run for ranked male wolves. He seemed really tormented for his friends. All I knew about Beta Anthony was he was Loyal to a fault and his best friend was True Alpha River. They were also the two that were hidden in the car when Rivers' parents were attacked. It was described as the most brutal murder in history. They had to watch the whole thing. I wasn't a stranger to PTSD. 'Damn it' I cursed in my head. 'What's the matter? Growing a heart and can't do it anymore?' Lexi tormented me. 'No I can still do this just because something happened to them doesn't mean that they are good' I reminded myself more than her but she didn't need to know that. After a few moments of calming himself he walked off. I waited a few more minutes before getting up and walking further through the bushes. I was looking along the wall for an opening. I looked up and about a foot above my head was a window. (Yurika) I thought to myself. I jumped up, grabbing the ledge and pulling myself up slowly. I peered through the window looking around making sure the coast was clear. It looked to be a bedroom. It was a little depressing there were only two pictures in the entire room. There was one on the far side of the whole True Alpha family before the murder. They all looked so expressionless like they were all dead already. The other on the desk was a newspaper clipping of the murders. I dropped down into the room and there wasn't much in it at all. There was a massive cherrywood bed fully equipped with a canopy. A cherry wood dresser, a large walk in closet, and two night stands besides the desk. There were two doors however so whoever had this room probably had a private bathroom. I decided to start with the dresser. 'Whose room do you think it is?' Lexi asked. 'Really you need to ask?' I rolled my eyes letting out a small chuckle. 'This room is dripping, no oozing trauma it's without a doubt River's' I chuckled out loud. Still looking through the dresser. There was nothing but some socks and underwear. I walked over to the closet. I looked through it but again nothing except black pants and black shirts. The guy was really into black. 'Huh must be the brooding type.' Lexi sighed. I looked at the bed again then looked under it. 'Nothing' I said frustrated. 'Look at that, I wonder how many she-wolves fur he has ruffled there' Lexi stated and my body shivered in response. 'No!' I said with a commanding tone. I knew she could feel it sooner than I could. That she would slowly start slipping into sex being the only thing she could think of. I didn't want to think about sex right now. Not with the heat coming soon. 'Let's just get something of value, grab it and get out of here before the heat comes on. The last thing we need is to be stuck in a True Alpha's room in heat.' I sighed as the weight of the next few weeks in isolation weighed heavy on my soul. This item is printed on demand.
