We live on an Earth we do not fully occupy. Beneath the clean, digital veneer of our modern metropolises runs a parallel, unseen civilization that has shared our planet since the dawn of creation: the Jinnat.
In an age dominated by secular materialism, we are taught that what cannot be isolated by a physical sensor simply does not exist. We dismiss the anomalous as a trick of the mind. Yet, across every century and culture, the veil fractures. Spontaneous kinetic disruptions, sudden untaught languages, and terrifying midnight suffocations continue to baffle our clinical frameworks. While popular Western culture has sanitized these entities into wish-granting cartoon genies, an ancient, highly sophisticated society of fire remains hidden in plain sight—and it has just found an entry point into our networks.
The Transgressor’s Code is a gripping, high-concept metaphysical thriller that charts a relentless race across two continents to stop a multi-dimensional invasion of the human mind. Grounded in a rigorous, realistic framework of speculative urban anthropology, this fast-paced corporate espionage novel strips away the clichés of horror to expose the terrifying structural mechanics of the unseen world.
The narrative arc tracks an intercontinental crisis born from a century-old debt:
- The Core Breach: In a hyper-secure sub-basement server room in Canary Wharf, London, the temperature drops instantly to a freezing -18°C. Frost blooms over fiber-optic arrays, and an elite systems architect collapses into a violent trance, speaking a fluent, unlearned pre-classical Semitic dialect.
- The Global Grid Campaign: Dr Tariq Mahmood, a cynical British-Pakistani neuropsychiatrist who believes every supernatural event is a neural misfire, is forced to partner with Zainab Shah, a brilliant scholar of classical metaphysics from Lahore. Together, they decode a catastrophic data loop vibrating at a precise nineteen-Hertz frequency across the telecommunications infrastructure.
- The Parasitic Pact: The investigators trace the frequency back to Sir Alistair Vance, a powerful telecom tycoon who has secretly signed an asymmetric contract with an urban Ifrit mastermind. Vance has deployed a nationwide smartphone firmware update that projects a sub-visible nineteen-Hertz micro-strobe, systematically shutting down the glucose metabolism of the human prefrontal cortex to expose forty million minds to the strategic, dark whispers (Waswas) of a Jinn corporate syndicate.
- The Ancestral Ledger: From the slick corporate boardrooms of London, through a midnight tactical raid on an automated industrial sugar refinery in Sargodha, to a rock-carved Sufi cell in the Punjab salt cliffs, the team uncovers a dark family secret. In 1897, Vance’s great-grandfather violently desecrated an ancestral wilderness domain (Wadi) to lay colonial telegraph lines. Now, the fire-born civilization has returned along those exact copper pathways to collect the multi-generational debt in full.
Step across the threshold. The lines are open. The veil is thinning.

Descripción de la tienda
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
