Amsterdam, Cornelis Danckertz, 1646. In-8, 19x15 cm, vélin muet d'époque, [2] ff. bl., [2] ff., 59 pp., 77 planches gravées, [2] ff. bl. Assez bon état, quelques rares défauts marginaux de papier dont certains restaurés (pl. XII-XXXI et14). Édition hollandaise, reprenant l'édition originale, avec quelques variantes mineures, de cette première traduction française du Palladio, parut en 1645 chez Langlois. Il s'agit d'une traduction relativement libre du premier des Quatre Livre d'Architecture, ayant paru originellement à Venise en 1570. Pierre Le Muet (1591-1669), au même titre que Mansart ou Le Vau, fut l'un des architectes déterminants de son siècle, il s'était attelé quelques années auparavant à introduire les travaux de Vignole.
