Paperback. In a world of high-functioning sociopaths, a tool is only as dangerous as the hand that wields it.It's been years since Cassie Underwood first met Taggart McGill. She has witnessed people using words such as obnoxious, rude, insufferable, and belligerent to describe him. The less articulate call him Prick, Jerk, a Tool. Cassie herself once called him the bane of her existence. The few who know Taggart see him as fiercely loyal, protective, brilliant, caring, and frank. She has watched Taggart emerge from the protective shell he's used to shield himself from traumatic memories of the past. But that shield has been weakening.Taggart expects a standard summer internship at the Eremitic Institute. Instead, he finds himself in the crosshairs of a double homicide. The weapon? The Apollo 15 training hammer, meant for space, was used to kill the institute owner and a pharmaceutical rep.Taggart is the prime suspect, with his fingerprints on the hammer and a large inheritance as a motive. But the murders mask a darker corporate rot. Hunted by the Feds and surrounded by people who lack a moral compass, Taggart must solve the crime from the "outside-in" before he becomes the next victim. In this third and final book in the series, the story reveals hard truths, which lead to even harder, life-altering decisions. - Libro 3 de 3: Taggart McGill Mystery
It’s been years since Cassie Underwood first met Taggart McGill. She has watched Taggart emerge from the protective shell he’s used to shield himself from traumatic memories of the past. But that shield has been weakening.
Taggart expects a standard summer internship at the Eremitic Institute. Instead, he finds himself in the crosshairs of a double homicide. The weapon? The Apollo 15 training hammer, meant for space, was used to kill the institute owner and a pharmaceutical rep.
Taggart is the prime suspect, with his fingerprints on the hammer and a large inheritance as a motive.
