On a tiny island in the far west of Ireland, something is happening that will change the course of human history.

American anthropology student Dani Peterson came to Ireland to document history, not live it. But a chance encounter with the mysterious Aideen sweeps her into a whirlwind journey that transcends centuries.

All the while, a darker truth stirs. Aideen’s mentor, the brilliant but sinister Charles, harbors secrets capable of unraveling the very fabric of time.

With the help of Annette Li, a powerful woman from the future, Dani and Aideen must protect the past, secure the future, and survive a time travel adventure in which every choice ripples through time.

Author’s Note: I truly enjoyed creating the characters in the Time Chain series. People from different times and places become friends, lovers, allies, and enemies. Early in Book One, the natural course of events causes the female leads, Dani and Aideen, to fall in love. And while the relationship isn’t explored in depth, I wanted to share this aspect up front. The Time Chain series is about a reality where time travel exists, with all the opportunities and challenges it brings. I’m thrilled that so many readers have enjoyed the series, as reflected in a few of their positive comments below:

Steven Decker is a world traveler who believes strongly in the first commandment of writing: Write what you know. His experiences around the globe often appear in his books as settings, characters, or plot points, and hopefully this enhances the experience of the reader. But any good work of fiction requires more than that. Fiction readers want to escape from their everyday lives when we read a book, thus the true job of a novelist is to imagine special things, sometimes even spectacular things, then write about them in a way that inspires the reader to go there, too.The author spends his days with his two dogs, Jenny and Wilson, doing his best to write good fiction in a quiet town in Connecticut.
