Paperback. Kimber books the flights, manages the calendar, and keeps Taylor's world moving-just like she always has. As his tour manager, she knows every beat of his day. As his ex, she knows exactly what broke them. But the quiet rhythm they've rebuilt is disrupted when Jill walks in-a makeup artist with a soft voice, a chaotic suitcase, and a smile that stays too long.Jill isn't just beautiful-she's interested. In Taylor. In Kimber. In the space between them. She sees the way they still orbit each other. And she doesn't flinch-she leans in.Taylor never meant to open the door again. Touring is easier than feeling. But something about Jill makes him curious. And something about Kimber still makes him care. When the three of them collide in hotel rooms and green rooms and long backstage nights, it's not about chaos-it's about possibility. What begins as shared space and late-night confessions becomes something none of them expected: comfort, chemistry, and the quiet hope that love can grow in more than one direction. There's no meltdown. No betrayal. No one walks out.Just three people choosing to stay in the room. The Third Note is a softly daring, deeply romantic story of trust, tension, and a love that doesn't need labels. Kimber books the flights, manages the calendar, and keeps Taylor's world moving, just like she always has. As his tour manager, she knows every beat of his day. As his ex, she knows exactly what broke them. But the quiet rhythm they've rebuilt is disrupted when Jill walks in, a makeup artist with a soft voice, a chaotic suitcase, and a smile that stays too long.
Jill isn't just beautiful... she's interested. In Taylor. In Kimber. In the space between them. She sees the way they still orbit each other. And she doesn't flinch, she leans in.
Taylor never meant to open the door again. Touring is easier than feeling. But something about Jill makes him curious. And something about Kimber still makes him care. When the three of them collide in hotel rooms and green rooms and long backstage nights, it's not about chaos, but about a possibility.
What begins as shared space and late-night confessions becomes something none of them expected: comfort, chemistry, and the quiet hope that love can grow in more than one direction.
There's no meltdown. No betrayal. No one walks out.
Just three people choosing to stay in the room.
The Third Note is a softly daring, deeply romantic story of trust, tension, and a love that doesn't need labels. No villains. No ultimatums. Just the courage to say yes to more.

Acerca del autor
Kira Lorne writes the kind of stories people read in private and remember in public.
Before turning to fiction, she worked behind the camera as a producer in the adult film industry-where she learned how desire behaves when no one is pretending, how intimacy fractures or deepens under pressure, and how performance differs from truth.
Those years gave her a rare, unfiltered education in sexuality, vulnerability, and power-one she now channels into stories that are sensual, emotional, and disarmingly honest.
Today, Kira teaches literature at the university level, guiding students through narrative, voice, longing, and the quiet architecture of human connection. By night, she writes emotionally charged romance-stories where desire functions as language, not performance.
Kira lives in Branson, Missouri, by way of California, where the landscape changed but her fascination with longing, reinvention, and quiet rebellion did not. She shares her home with a deeply unimpressed cat who believes all writing intentionally takes time away from belly rubs and scratches behind his ears.
Her work is known for its softness, its sharpness, and its unapologetic heat.
Not explicit for the sake of shock, but intimate because her characters earn it.
"I try to write desire the way it actually happens-messy, hopeful, and real."
