The world has never forgotten what the cross did to His body. This is the story of what no eye could see.
At nine o'clock on a Friday morning, Rome crucified Jesus of Nazareth. Films and books have shown the scourging, the thorns, the nails — the suffering men could watch. But Scripture insists the visible agony was only the threshold. Isaiah said He would bear our griefs and carry our sorrows. Paul said He was made sin. Hebrews says He tasted death for every man.
What did that actually look like — behind the veil?
He Tasted Death is a novel of the six hours of the crucifixion as witnessed from the spirit realm and from within the soul of Christ Himself. The Scroll of Names opens. The Courtroom of Eternity convenes. The accuser builds his flawless case. The darkness falls at noon, the fire of the true Day of Atonement descends, and one Man drinks the eternal sentences of billions — the widow, the thief, the prodigal, even the man of blood — name by name, tear by tear, to the cry that split the darkness and the one word that finished it: Tetelestai. Paid in full.
Reverent, biblically anchored (KJV), and emotionally devastating, this book ends where every reader will want to stand — at an empty tomb, worshiping.
If the physical suffering was one out of a hundred, this is the story of the other ninety-nine.
