Have you ever felt like you did not fit in with others because of the way you look? This story enters the journey of a stray cat named Catsby, who feels alone because he is missing an eye. He has to learn how to bond with others, but it might be difficult because he looks different. Will he find a family to love him for how he is? Will he finally feel what it is like to be loved and accepted?

I grew up and still live in Ohio, and I have been creating stories since I was twelve years old. This is my first children's book, so I wanted to create a story about empathy and accepting someone for how they are. I spent half of my childhood in multiple foster homes, so creating stories and writing poetry helped me process the hardships. Throughout my life, I have met a variety of different people with different personalities which taught me to accept everyone's similarities and differences. Diversity makes the world beautiful, and I want to continue to show that through my books.
