The present project deals with the solvent borne Flexographic and gravure printing inks formulations, which have low viscosities and different additives are incorporated with binder, with addition of new Diamine (like 1,4-PhenyleneDiamine and 2,4-Diamino Pyridine). Aromatic diamine can give better efficiency in final product like enhanced wetting of pigment, co-binding with pigment and substrate molecules, resulting in improved adhesion and gloss of print. Locally available fatty acids will be used. Presently polyamide resins are being imported to use by local industry, by doing research in this we can manage and support local printing industry to make product locally and save foreign exchange and create employment in production of resin.
