This book contains select papers on mathematical analysis and modeling, discrete mathematics, fuzzy sets, and soft computing. All the papers were presented at the international conference on FIM28-SCMSPS20 virtually held at Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar (SSN) College of Engineering, Chennai, India, and Stella Maris College (Autonomous), Chennai, from November 23–27, 2020. The conference was jointly held with the support of the Forum for Interdisciplinary Mathematics. Both the invited articles and submitted papers were broadly grouped under three heads: Part 1 on analysis and modeling (six chapters), Part 2 on discrete mathematics and applications (six chapters), and Part 3 on fuzzy sets and soft computing (three chapters).

Acerca del autor
Anthony Vijesh is Associate Professor at the Department ofMathematics at the IIT Indore, India. He received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the IIT Madras. His research areas include numerical analysis, operator theory, and differential equations. He has published 25 peer-reviewed papers in various reputed journals in mathematics. He has so far guided four students successfully for their Ph.D. degree.
Balasubramaniam Jayaram is Professor at the Department of Mathematics at the IIT Hyderabad, India. His main areas of research interest are in approximate reasoning and high-dimensional data analysis. He is on the editorial board of many journals, including IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, Fuzzy Sets and Systems and International Journal of Approximate Reasoning. He has co-authored a research monograph on Fuzzy Implications and is Author of more than 80 published papers in refereed international journals and conferences. He is also Experienced Research Fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
Prakash Veeraraghavan is Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia. He received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the IIT Chennai, India. He has more than 25 years of teaching, research, and industry experience. His research interest includes mathematical modeling, graph algorithms, optimization, network protocols and system security, and various areas of cybersecurity. He has published more than 120 papers in various top international conferences and reputable journals. He held a patent on software engineering.

Para ejercer el derecho de desistimiento, complete de forma electrónica y envíe una declaración clara en nuestro sitio web, desde "Mis compras" en "Mi cuenta". Le enviaremos sin demora un acuse de recibo de dicho desistimiento a través de un soporte duradero (por ejemplo, por correo electrónico).
Para cumplir con el plazo de desistimiento, basta con que envíe su comunicación relativa al ejercicio del derecho de desistimiento antes de que venza el periodo de desistimiento.
Efectos del desistimiento
Si rescinde este contrato, le reembolsaremos todos los pagos que hayamos recibido de usted, incluidos los gastos de envío (excepto los gastos adicionales que surjan si elige un tipo de envío que no sea el tipo de envío estándar más económico que ofrecemos).
Podemos hacer una deducción del reembolso por la pérdida de valor de cualquier bien suministrado, si la pérdida es el resultado de una manipulación innecesaria por su parte.
Efectuaremos el reembolso sin demoras indebidas y, a más tardar, 14 días después de que se nos informe de su decisión de rescindir este contrato.

El plazo se cumple si devuelve la mercancía antes de que venza el periodo de 14 días. Tendrá que asumir los gastos directos de devolución de los bienes. Usted solo es responsable de la disminución del valor de los bienes como resultado de una manipulación distinta a la necesaria para establecer la naturaleza, las características y el funcionamiento de los bienes.
Excepciones al derecho de desistimiento
El derecho de desistimiento no se aplica a lo siguiente:
- La entrega de periódicos, diarios o revistas, con la excepción de los contratos de suscripción; y
- El suministro de contenido digital que no se proporcione en un soporte tangible (por ejemplo, en un CD o DVD) si, al hacer el pedido, aceptó que podíamos empezar a entregarlo y que no podría desistir una vez iniciada la entrega.
