A native of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, he graduated from Penn State University where he received a Hearst Journalism Award for feature writing. Gary resides in Mission Viejo, California, with his wife Ming and pet rabbit, Coconut.
Sandy Phan is a project manager and editor at Walter Foster Publishing, Inc. She graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a bachelor of arts in American literature and a minor in education.
