The most important work of the towering intellectual of the Middle Ages, Thomas Aquinas's Summa Theologiae remains one of the great seminal works of philosophy and theology, while extending to subjects as diverse as law and government, sacraments and liturgy, and psychology and ethics. In this volume, St. Thomas gives a detailed account of human action, pleasure and pain, virtue and vice.
Críticas
"Anyone who loves the writings of Thomas Aquinas will be thrilled with this edition. The Aquinas Institute in Wyoming has embarked on an exciting venture: the Opera Omnia of Thomas Aquinas, in a beautiful and relatively inexpensive edition (hard-back, good quality paper, relatively large print, bound, and bi-lingual (Latin-English). So far they have published the Summa Theologiae, as well as Commentaries on the New Testament (Paul, John, Matthew). I am specifically looking forward to the future edition of his Commentary on the Sentences, as no English translation exists as yet. All in all, a wonderful project - warmly recommended!" - Amazon Review
