This book is a guide to auditing, it explains what auditors do and why they do it It plugs the experience gap that many students of auditing have by presenting this subject in a context that is understandable to someone who has never been on an audit. It is written in straightforward language with examples that the student can relate to from their non-auditing background. With its inclusion of real-life examples, it supplements (it will not replace) the more technical exam-based texts by making audits more accessible. It is technical, the auditing standards are, of course, referred to and the key points given, but mind-maps, summaries and illustrations make the learning of them easier.
