Acerca del autor: Armen Der Kiureghian is the Taisei Professor of Civil Engineering Emeritus at the University of California, Berkeley, and a co-founder and President Emeritus of the American University of Armenia. He is also a Distinguished Alumnus of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an elected member of the US National Academy of Engineering.
