Michael served in the Army first. Cristina later entered military service and rose to the rank of Command Sergeant Major. When their roles changed, Michael stood beside her and supported the home front while Cristina carried the responsibilities of leadership and service.

Through more than thirty years of marriage, they learned that a strong union is not built by avoiding hardship or holding tightly to the past. It is built when two people place God at the center, communicate honestly, support each other’s assignments, and face every new season together.
