Dr Henry Jekyll, a reputed scientist, develops a potion that allows him to separate his good and evil traits by becoming Mr Hyde. His life turns upside down when his alter ego becomes powerful and is unable to control its murderous and sinister desires. Will Dr Jekyll be able to control his evil side? Who will be Mr Hyde’ s next target? This gothic thriller is full of suspense, chilling events and speaks volumes about misuse of power that leads to terrifying consequences.
Acerca del autor: Robert Louis Stevenson (1850-1894) was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. He was an essayist, poet, and novelist. Despite his poor health, he traveled widely to acquire materials for his writings. His most popular works include Treasure Island, Kidnapped, Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and A Child’s Garden of Verses. Early in life, Stevenson came upon the self-realization of his curious and opinionated mind. He could not abide by the conventional norms of society; and thus said, “am I to live my whole life as one falsehood?”
