Acerca del autor: The Doc: Connie Stapleton, PhD, is a licensed psychologist, also certified as an addictions therapist. Dr. Stapleton has worked in the world of Recovery for over twenty years and the weight loss surgery (WLS) field for more than ten. She is on several committees of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) and The International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity & Metabolic Disorders (IFSO) and is a respected national and international speaker on issues related to WLS. Dr. Stapleton is the creator of MindPrep, a comprehensive psychological educational series for optimal preparation and success following Weight Loss Surgery. The Post-Op: Cari De La Cruz is a wife, mother, favorite daughter and little sister who hails from a long line of "natural" redheads and drama queens. Completely at home on the stage, she was always bigger than life–unfortunately, so was her butt.
