Fine folding lithographed map (68 x 64 inches), laid-down on four separate linen sheets in 28 sections (34 x 32 inches), by Letts, Son & Co., with original hand-colour in full. With an inset of the Aleutian Islands, and extending to include most of Greenland and Iceland in the northeast, and the Caribbean Sea in the southeast (some light offsetting). Contemporary half black morocco solander case ( a bit rubbed). Provenance: From the map-library of Mark Babinski, his sale Swann Galleries, 8th December 2005, lot 68.
