What if we’ve been trying to get rid of the very thing that brings us the opportunity for our greatest level of performance, meaning and purpose?
It’s exhausting reading the constant headlines about reducing and getting rid of stress and anxiety to better our collective health. We’re all aware of the anxiety and mental health crisis most of us face, but the solutions that we’ve been offered are not only out of date, but they are also often counterproductive!
Stress isn’t going anywhere. But that can be a good thing.
When we recognize that stress is only energy, we can begin to wield it in a way that can help us rather than hinder our progress toward our goals. More stress, more anxiety, can actually just mean more power. Afterall, Olympic athletes don’t break world records at practice. They break them at the height of stress and pressure. With the right framework, stress can become our greatest competitive advantage.
Backed by decades of research and told in a compelling narrative, Springboard provides a detailed roadmap for profoundly changing our professional and personal lives through the Fear(less) Stress Framework. With surprising truths gleaned from proprietary research, as well as case studies, interviews, and validated tests readers can use to deeper their own personal understanding of their cumulative stress, Springboard will impart fresh, actionable tools that anyone can use to channel their peak performance even under the most challenging circumstances.

Acerca del autor
Dr. Rebecca Heiss knows stress isn't going anywhere, and it's her biggest frustration to watch people try to "get rid of it!". As a stress physiologist, Dr. Heiss has focused her work allowing us all to transform our stress so that it can springboard us to our highest level of performance, passion, and purpose. Her research has been designated "transformative" by the National Science Foundation and it is waking up audiences around the world. As an author and highly sought-after professional speaker, Rebecca has found her calling in helping others recognize the power of using stress energy for good - even when we think it's not. A former educator, Dr. Heiss spent much of her earlier career in the classroom at both the high school and college levels and was recruited to be a founding member of an innovative charter school with a focus on entrepreneurial thinking and impact-based learning. Today she shares her T-minus 3 Technique to transform fears to fuel from stages around the world as a full-time speaker and facilitator of her Fearless Masterclass. She continues her research on how we can turn anxiety, stress and trauma into Post Traumatic Growth (PTG) rather than PTSD. Rebecca's "fear(less)" message inspires hope and actionable insights to train our brains to work for us, rather than against us in times of change and uncertainty. Rebecca lives in South Carolina with her spoiled rotten dogs named Guinness & Murphy and every day tries to live her life motto: "Spread Happy."
