This book presents best-selected papers presented at the 7th International Conference on Smart Computing and Informatics (SCI 2025), held at the School of Engineering and Technology (SET), Sunway University, Selangor, Malaysia, during 8–9 April 2025. It presents advanced and multidisciplinary research towards the design of smart computing and informatics. The theme is on a broader front and focuses on various innovation paradigms in system knowledge, intelligence and sustainability that may be applied to provide realistic solutions to varied problems in society, environment and industries. The scope is also extended towards the deployment of emerging computational and knowledge transfer approaches, optimizing solutions in various disciplines of science, technology and healthcare. The work is published in four volumes.

Acerca del autor
Vikrant Bhateja is associate professor in Department of Electronics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology (UNSIET), Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. He is also serving as Head: Computer Sc. Engg. & Information Technology in the same university. He holds a doctorate in ECE (Bio-Medical Imaging) with a total academic teaching experience of 21 years with around 190 publications in reputed international conferences, journals and online book chapter contributions; out of which 40 papers are published in SCIE indexed high impact factored journals. One of his papers published in Review of Scientific Instruments (RSI) Journal (under American International Publishers) has been selected as “Editor Choice Paper of the Issue'' in 2016. He has been Editor-in-Chief of IGI Global--International Journal of Natural Computing and Research (IJNCR) journal from 2017-22. He is guest editor in journals like: Elsevier: Measurement, Springer: Evolutionary Intelligence. He is Senior Member of IEEE and Life Member of CSI.
Angela Lee Siew Hoong is Deputy Dean (Employability & Alumni) at the School of Engineering and Technology, Sunway University, Malaysia. Prof Angela Lee has been developing data science curriculum more than 10 years, and she is the key person to introduce Data Science degree at Sunway University. She was recently awarded the National Outstanding Educator Award and SAS Global Forum Distinguished Educator Award for Asia Pacific Category. She regularly speaks at data science conferences. Angela has developed many innovative ways to use analytics and data science tools from the most elementary level to advanced analytics. She teaches Social Media Analytics, Visual Analytics, Advanced Analytics and Business Intelligence and has authored many published international journals in the area of churn analytics, sentiment analysis and predictive analytics.
Jude Dzevela Kong, Canada Research Chair in Community-Oriented AI and Mathematical Modeling at the University of Toronto and a member of the RSC College, pioneers equitable, mathematical and AI-driven solutions for global health crises. He founded and directs AI4PEP, ACADIC, AIMMLab, and REASURE2, advancing community-led innovation across the Global South and Canada. With 151+ publications and multiple awards, including the 2025 DLSPH's Excellence in Research, he shapes health policy, empowers underrepresented STEM scholars, and drives inclusive, Southern-led scientific collaboration.
Dr. Junali Jasmine Jena has above 7 years of experience in teaching under-graduate and post-graduate students in the field of Computer Science and Information technology. She did her B.Tech. and Master Degree in Computer Science and Engineering. She completed her Ph.D. in the area of Evolutionary Algorithms with 7 SCI publications from KIIT (Deemed to be university), India. Her research area includes machine learning, soft computing methods for pattern recognition, evolutionary algorithms for optimization problems and Data Analysis in the field of Software Engineering. Currently she is working as an Assistant Professor in School of Computer Engineering, KIIT (Deemed to be University), Bhubaneswar, India. She has more than 30 SCOPUS and SCI indexed research articles and two published ISBN books. She is currently guiding 3 Ph.D. students and has guided more than 6 MTech scholars. She is an active reviewer for many journals and international conferences. She has ample experience to organize special sessions and also chaired special sessions in various conferences by Springer. She has delivered invited talks in a few of the conferences and workshops in Evolutionary optimization techniques.

Derecho al desistimiento
Si es un consumidor, puede rescindir el contrato de acuerdo con lo siguiente. Por consumidor se entiende cualquier persona física que actúe con fines ajenos a su actividad comercial, empresarial, oficio o profesión.

Derecho legal de desistimiento
Tiene derecho a rescindir este contrato en un plazo de 14 días sin dar ningún motivo.
El periodo de desistimiento vencerá a los 14 días desde que usted, o un tercero que no sea el transportista e indicado por usted, adquiera la posesión física del último bien o del último lote o pieza.
Para ejercer el derecho de desistimiento, complete de forma electrónica y envíe una declaración clara en nuestro sitio web, desde "Mis compras" en "Mi cuenta". Le enviaremos sin demora un acuse de recibo de dicho desistimiento a través de un soporte duradero (por ejemplo, por correo electrónico).
Para cumplir con el plazo de desistimiento, basta con que envíe su comunicación relativa al ejercicio del derecho de desistimiento antes de que venza el periodo de desistimiento.
Efectos del desistimiento
Si rescinde este contrato, le reembolsaremos todos los pagos que hayamos recibido de usted, incluidos los gastos de envío (excepto los gastos adicionales que surjan si elige un tipo de envío que no sea el tipo de envío estándar más económico que ofrecemos).
Podemos hacer una deducción del reembolso por la pérdida de valor de cualquier bien suministrado, si la pérdida es el resultado de una manipulación innecesaria por su parte.
Efectuaremos el reembolso sin demoras indebidas y, a más tardar, 14 días después de que se nos informe de su decisión de rescindir este contrato.
Efectuaremos el reembolso utilizando el mismo medio de pago que utilizó para la transacción inicial, a menos que haya acordado expresamente lo contrario; en cualquier caso, no incurrirá en ningún cargo como resultado de dicho reembolso.
Podremos retener el reembolso hasta que hayamos recibido los bienes o hasta que nos haya presentado una prueba de que los ha devuelto, lo que ocurra primero.
Deberá devolver los bienes o entregarlos a California Books, Fort Wayne, Indiana, U.S.A., sin demoras indebidas y, en cualquier caso, en un plazo máximo de 14 días a partir del día en que nos comunique su desistimiento del presente contrato. El plazo se cumple si devuelve la mercancía antes de que venza el periodo de 14 días. Tendrá que asumir los gastos directos de devolución de los bienes. Usted solo es responsable de la disminución del valor de los bienes como resultado de una manipulación distinta a la necesaria para establecer la naturaleza, las características y el funcionamiento de los bienes.
Excepciones al derecho de desistimiento
El derecho de desistimiento no se aplica a lo siguiente:
- La entrega de periódicos, diarios o revistas, con la excepción de los contratos de suscripción; y
- El suministro de contenido digital que no se proporcione en un soporte tangible (por ejemplo, en un CD o DVD) si, al hacer el pedido, aceptó que podíamos empezar a entregarlo y que no podría desistir una vez iniciada la entrega.
