What does it mean to be wise? Usually, it refers to the process of learning from experience. We engage some aspect of our life, and then we come up with a concept that is personally satisfying. This is actually conventional wisdom. There is actually a deeper and more real form of wisdom, which can be referred to as an Awakened Living intelligence that transcends even concepts and conclusions about experience. The method of realizing this innate wisdom is through Self-knowledge. This process is not as simple, casual observation, but involves an actual method and science, just like any skill. Through this precise process, we discover deeper intelligence that awaken our minds, hearts and bodies and enabling us to discover a living Wisdom. This book is divided into two sections; the theory and practice. It provides not only a theoretical framework, but gives specific instruction and training in order to realize this new living condition. Through application, we become true "philosophers", or wisdom lover, which is what the word philosopher literally means.
