Book condition: near fine, very scarce, wonderful booklet describing the life, labors and travels of Patience who was born in Rhode Island in 1733, in 1771 she "croffed the river Delaware at Corryel's Ferry into Bucks county", that ferry name once served as the same name for what is now Lambertville, NJ, and New Hope, Pennsylvania, this chapter describes her visit to Friends in the Middle and Southern Provinces while chapter II covers her visit to Friends in Great Britain and Ireland, an appendix contains an address she wrote to George III, King of Great Britain, beautifully bound in decorative paper which is in excellent condition with only a very shallow dent across bottom front, short note in pencil on back of title page, a bit of excess paper to the top outside corner of page 137, text block age toned throughout with all text quite legible, a well cared for volume, 143 pages, 4.25 X 6.75 inches.
