Shatter The False Story (Paperback)

What if the story you've been living isn't yours at all - and what if the moment you finally question it becomes the moment your real life begins?

Shatter the False Story: Breaking the Ancestral Cycles is a fierce, tender, and deeply human invitation to stop inheriting pain and start choosing truth. Through poetic storytelling and raw self-revelation, Misty unravels the emotional choreography she learned as the sixth daughter in a traditional immigrant family - a world where silence was survival, obedience was currency, and daughters were expected to fold themselves small.

But this is not a tale of rebellion for rebellion's sake. It is the sacred, messy, often hilarious journey of a woman who decides to stop performing and start becoming.

Across twelve raw, piercing chapters, Misty walks readers through the invisible inheritance so many of us carry: generational fear, cultural scripts, unspoken loyalties, and the quiet ache of living a life shaped by everyone else's expectations. With sharp insight and disarming humor, she reveals how healing is rarely graceful - it is nonlinear, inconvenient, and beautifully disruptive.

This book is a call to anyone who has ever felt muted, molded, or misplaced. A call to the cycle-breakers who feel the weight of their lineage and the pull of their own becoming. A call to the ones who have stayed quiet for too long and are finally ready to speak - awkwardly, honestly, courageously.

Shatter the False Story reminds us that awakening doesn't require perfection. It requires willingness - to question, to feel, to unravel, to laugh at the absurdity of it all, and to choose ourselves even when it shakes the ground beneath us.

This is not just a memoir. It is an initiation.

A reminder that you were never broken.
You were becoming - and now, it's your turn to shatter the story that never belonged to you.
