Descripción del artículo del vendedor

Original publisher's pale buckram lettered in brown. Some wear to boards, and bumping to all edges. Internally bright and clean. From the family library of Henry Williamson, recently dispersed. The selected letters of T. E. Lawrence, first published only three years after his death, edited by literary contemporary David Garnett. From the family library of Henry Williamson, to whom only one entry is included. The telegram, dated May 13th 1935, was addressed to Williamson in response to his most recent letter, confirming 'Lunch Tuesday wet fine, cottage 1 mile North Bovington Camp. Shaw.' Descripción de la tienda

Established 2007, Antiquates Ltd is an Antiquarian bookseller with a large, custom built shop in the heart of the Dorset countryside. We sell fine and rare books from our Wareham shop, in catalogues, and via our website (www.antiquates.co.uk). Specialising in early printed books both English and Continental, fine English Literature, and books by, for, and about Women and Children, we nevertheless stock a wide range of works on paper from 1500-present - including modern first editions. Our bias is towards the unusual, the interesting and the important - and always have a good stock of rare books by local authors such as T.E. Lawrence and Thomas Hardy; we are just the place if you're looking for an extra-special gift for a wedding, birthday, anniversary or graduation. (Open Wednesday - Saturday, 10am-4pm)…
