Paperback. "The Secrets That We Keep" was written more out of necessity, than for popularity. The reason being, more than likely, we all have our very own secrets that only truth can free us from. Rape, and Sexual abuse, happen to be one of those secrets that touches more lives than almost anything else. Male or Female, it doesn't matter. Some kind of way, more than not, you've either been the perpetrator, or became the victim of such offense.Never before a book like " The Secrets That We Keep", ever been written. The storyline will grip you, and refuse to let you go. It employs clarity and understanding in order to reveal the naked truth regarding this dilemma. No one will be spared from its legitimacy. Its pace and momentum will quickly carry your thoughts and feelings to places that are shrouded in secrecy. It is a unique work of Literary Fiction that hijacks reality and uses it as a vehicle for truth.Experience the honesty and sincerity, as the author opens the door for the millions of victims who've been affected by these life-like characters. It's a road everyone is familiar with but no one wants to travel. Nevertheless, once this journey begins, there will be many twist and bumps along the way. Some will jar your memory, while others will open up wounds. In the end, It will prove to be a valuable book that sheds light on the reality of how these offenses take place on three different levels. Yesterday, we learned to bury these secrets behind doors, walls, lies, and feelings. Today, we no longer have the option to bury the truth, or look the other way. The hurt and shame involved in this dilemma are almost unbearable. In any event, it's usually a sickness that leaves behind a sickness. If it's our government's obligation to protect society from those who prey on individuals for the sake of sexual gratification, then it's our obligation to inform one another as to the ways in which this plays out in everyday life.If we have come to a point and time where the President of The United State of America can brag about grabbing someone's crotch, then surely the time is ripe for such a book. One that allows us to witness the inherent tendencies in such individuals, while acknowledging the secret hurt, shame, and blame, of all those who have been victimized by this phenomena. It is a wake-up call, and contribution, to the past, present and future of this dilemma. This item is printed on demand.
