One of 101 titles in the St. Joseph Picture Book Series, Scriptural Rosary for Children by popular author Rev. Jude Winkler, OFM. Conv. uses Scripture to help children to reflect on the 20 Mysteries of the Rosary. The Rosary is a special way for Catholics to pray and grow closer to Jesus and Mary. It is made up of a set of beads that help us remember different prayers. When we pray the Rosary, we think about important events in Jesus' and Mary's lives. These events are called "mysteries" and include moments like Jesus' birth, His teachings, His suffering, and His resurrection.

Each part of the Rosary has different prayers, including the Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be. As we move through the beads, we say these prayers over and over, which helps us focus our minds and hearts on God.
People pray the Rosary to ask for Mary's intercession, which means asking her to pray to God on our behalf. Mary is seen as a loving mother who helps bring us closer to Jesus. The Rosary teaches us to reflect on God's love and His life.

Many people find peace and comfort in praying the Rosary, and it is something they can do anytime, alone or with others. It is a reminder of faith, love, and the blessings that come from trusting in God.
