What if salvation was never meant to be the end of the believer’s spiritual journey—but only the beginning?

In Saved and Empowered, Rev. Charles Lefort explores the life-changing reality of the Holy Spirit and why the born-again believer was never intended to live the Christian life through human strength alone. Drawing from Scripture, Pentecostal theology, personal testimony, and years of pastoral reflection, this book confronts the quiet spiritual weakness many believers experience despite sincerely loving Christ.

Why do so many Christians struggle with recurring defeat, lack of boldness, spiritual inconsistency, and absence of intimacy with God?

The answer is not found in greater effort alone.

The answer is the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit.

Through deeply reflective teaching and practical spiritual insight, Saved and Empowered reveals:

• Why salvation and spiritual empowerment are distinct realities in Scripture
• The difference between striving and yielding to the Holy Spirit
• How the Spirit transforms desires, breaks bondage, and restores identity
• Why many believers live spiritually exhausted despite sincere faith
• The importance of continual filling, surrender, and communion with God
