Neuware - 'A Sanitary Survey of Palestine' presents a comprehensive scientific evaluation of public health conditions in the region during the late 1920s. Authored by M. J. Rosenau, a leading figure in preventive medicine, the work serves as a foundational epidemiological study examining the environmental and social factors affecting the health of various populations. The survey delves into critical issues such as water supply, waste disposal, malaria control, and the prevalence of infectious diseases.Rosenau provides a detailed analysis of the infrastructure and sanitary measures required to improve conditions in both urban and rural communities. By documenting the challenges faced by the region during this transitional period, the book offers invaluable insights into the history of medicine in the Middle East and the early development of international health standards. This work remains a significant primary source for historians, public health professionals, and those interested in the socio-political and environmental history of the Levant. Through its rigorous data collection and expert observations, the work highlights the intersection of science and administration in the quest for improved public hygiene. This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important, and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it.
