Paperback. Waiting on Her by Samuel Ludke is a poignant exploration of love, desire, and the quiet ache of longing. In this evocative collection of poems, Ludke examines the emotional tension that arises when we find ourselves waiting-whether for a lover's return, the answer to a question, or the fulfillment of a dream. Through spare, yet powerful language, Waiting on Her captures the deep, often unspoken moments of anticipation and the complex emotions that swirl in the space between us and those we desire. Each poem feels like a quiet conversation with the self, peeling back layers of vulnerability and uncertainty. With themes of unrequited love, inner conflict, and the pursuit of connection, Ludke paints an intimate portrait of the human heart caught in the liminal space of waiting-aching for something that may or may not come. In these pages, waiting is both a form of devotion and a delicate dance with time, full of longing, hope, and surrender.Waiting on Her is a meditation on patience, desire, and the emotional landscapes that form when we give ourselves to someone else's absence. It is a book for anyone who has ever felt the weight of waiting-whether it be for love, understanding, or resolution. This item is printed on demand.
