BLOOD MOON BY UNCOMFORTABLY DARK HORROR PRESENTS

SLENDER BONES IN SACRED SOIL BY FREDRICK NILES

Lift the veil of darkness and light a candle for the wandering soul in this collection of dark micro poetry, SLENDER BONES IN SACRED SOIL.

SYNOPSIS:

A liminal space has been prepared for you.

In this dark collection of short verse, Fredrick Niles explores all the tender longings of home, wilderness, memory, and grief. Sometimes grim, and occasionally wry, Niles wields wit and wordcraft to render all the grim tidings of the future and the yearning nostalgia of the past into a landscape of quiet purpose and deep feeling.

Now is the time to step into that liminal space. Now is the time to dig up whatever it was you buried in that sacred soil.

EARLY PRAISE!

"A diverse examination of mind, body, and soul, Fredrick Niles brings you brilliance in this collection of incredible micro poems that only hint at the full range of his talent. Niles is one of the best poets on the indie scene and is one to watch, a true rising star!" --Christopher Besonen, author of NETWORK

"While reading this collection of stunning micro poems that hit hard in a very few lines, I found myself feeling a full range of emotions. For what is, perhaps, the first time in my life, I have connected with poetry in a way I never have before. Each word is a bullet painstakingly crafted and aimed to hit its target. I truly enjoyed the entire book!" - Jill Girardi, Owner, Kandisha Press

“These passages are raw wounds trying desperately to heal - as dark as they are beautiful, as real as they are dreamlike, and as painful as they are hopeful. Together, they reveal a story of someone trying to be something better in a world trying to tear them apart.”—Patrick Tumblety, author of COME OUT & PLAY

"A stellar collection. Brilliant words to savor and return to. If you enjoy great poetry, you'll absolutely adore SLENDER BONES IN SACRED SOIL. I'm looking forward to more of Nile's work."—Brian Bowyer, author of STORYSLAVE
