nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Rosie is a Highland cow unlike any animal the ranch has ever seen. Her long, shaggy coat falls over her eyes, and her wide horns seem to get in the way of everything. On her very first day at her new Nebraska Sandhills ranch, a group of calves makes sure she knows she is different. Her new friends try to welcome her, but even the kindest gestures fall short when Rosie's horns are too big for the doghouse and too tangled for the plum thicket. That night, alone under a maple tree, Rosie quietly wonders whether the things that set her apart will ever make sense. Then a mother cow cries out in the dark. Her calf is lost deep inside the very thicket that turned Rosie away. Every other animal on the ranch is helpless to reach him. But Rosie steps forward, because she is beginning to understand something important about why she was made the way she was.Rosie's Ranch Rescue is a warm, faith-rooted picture book inspired by real animals living on Heart City Highlands, a working cattle ranch in Valentine, Nebraska. Author BT Tetherow and illustrator Dawna Rubihid Mangeart bring genuine ranch life to the page with humor, heart, and a gentle message rooted in the belief that God makes no mistakes. This book is ideal for children ages 3 to 8, storytime read-alouds, school and library collections, and faith-based gift giving. It speaks directly to children who have ever felt out of place and reassures them that their differences are not accidents. They are part of a plan.Perfect for collections that include Christian picture books, farm animal stories, and character-building titles focused on identity, belonging, and kindness.…
