In the Room: When Grief Comes to Work is a short, illustrated book about what happens when personal or professional loss enters workplaces.

Through clear words and watercolor illustrations, the book explores the invisible weight carried by people who are grieving while continuing to show up for work.

Created for grieving individuals and the leaders who work alongside them, In the Room offers a moment of recognition where grief and workplace culture meet. It invites readers to notice what is often unseen and consider how presence and understanding shape the environments where people work.

Thoughtful and deeply human, In the Room is both a companion for those navigating loss and a resource for organizations seeking to better hold the full experience of the people who work within them.
