Print on Demand. This book presents a series of arguments to prove that the modern principles of the Church of Rome are intolerant and persecuting. The author provides authentic and unquestionable documents which they believe have never been seen by the public eye to demonstrate that the intolerant and persecuting nature of the Church of Rome is the same today as it was in the past. The author seeks to provoke a meeting of the Roman Catholic bishops in Ireland, with himself and other clergy or laymen, to debate the information presented in this book. The author hopes that this debate would allow Protestants and Roman Catholics alike to judge these issues openly. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.

The authorised circulation of notes on God's Eternal Word, given as of infallible authority to a credulous confiding people - notes full of blasphemy, idolatry, intolerance, and persecution - notes which under the pretence of a com mentary, borrow the semblance of authority from the sacred text, for every false doctrine it denounces, and for almostwhoaredeiied againand again before the open face of day tomeegertoconfnte asingle one of them? Who are they whose cfiorts of defence have but betrayed the consciousness of guilt, and afl'orded only fresh occasions of confirmation of their crimes, till they have been driven to prefer the con fesion of a coward and submissive silence, to the helpless and hafied impotence of any further efl'ort to defend They are the first, the ablest, themost larned, the most powerful, the most vaunted champions of the Papacy. Here, you may behold the leaders of a band of public truce breakers dragged by the grasp of truth from the degraded and dishonored benches of the British Senate, and the crimes of that guilty superstition, by which they have been nursed and trained to perjury, publicly branded on their brow. Here you may seethe confederated band of ecclesiastical seditious tyrants, the authors and organisers of their country's crimes - pro minent in exemplifying the pestilent principles they have insulated - reversing the ofice and the order they profess to hold of acred guides, Who lure to brighter worlds, and lead the way.
