Sinopsis:

For parliamentarians and anyone involved in an organization, association, club, or group, there is only one guide to smooth, orderly, and fairly conducted meetings and assemblies. It’s Robert's Rules of Order!

Robert’s Rules of Order was originally published in 1876, as a guide for groups when they met to maximize the efficiency of their meetings and conduct their business in an orderly fashion. The book highlights how to properly motion for an argument or change, and the subsequent steps required for a motion to pass. Additionally, it elaborates on decorum, etiquette, voting procedures, positions within the group, and more.

With a new foreword by Chris MacDonald, author of The Business Ethics Blog, this edition is sure to provide readers with the most comprehensive version of Robert’s classic guide. It’s sure to make meetings run more smoothly, and help whatever your cause achieve greater success.

Acerca del autor: Henry Martyn Robert was an American soldier, general, and, most famously, the author of Robert’s Rules of Order. He wrote the book after being ashamed by how poorly he had run a church meeting. He passed away in 1923.

Chris MacDonald, PhD, is an educator, speaker, and consultant in the realm of business ethics. He writes the Business Ethics Blog, and teaches at the Ted Rogers School of Management, at Ryerson University in Toronto, where he is Director of the Jim Pattison Ethical Leadership Education & Research Program, at the Ted Rogers Leadership Center. He is also a Senior Fellow at Duke University's Kenan Institute for Ethics.
