The Road From Bethany. Este artículo no está disponible. The Road From Bethany

It began in Bethany—with a death, a voice that shattered the grave, and a man who came walking out. From there, it swept to the Cross, where love bled, and to the upper room, where fire fell. And it did not end there.

Driven into exile, Mary Magdalene, Martha, Lazarus, and Joseph of Arimathea journey through storm and shipwreck to the pagan shores of Gaul and beyond. They carry with them the memory of the one who called them friend—and the holy defiance of those who have seen death die.
Mary retreats to a cave, burning with visions. Martha battles beasts and darkness in the name of the living God. Lazarus becomes bishop, still laughing at the grave. Joseph bears the sacred cup westward, to a land of mist and myth.

Told in the thunderous, poetic voice of Eugene O’Neill, The Road from Bethany is the story of four who could not forget what they saw—who could not keep silent about the Christ who wept, who died, who rose. This is their gospel. This is their fire.
