Paperback. Ritual is a living language of the soulImagine creating deeply personal rituals to mark life's most sacred milestones in companionship with the world around you.Would you like to honor a meaningful moment in your life? How would it feel to listen more deeply to your inner life? How might you bring more joy and flow to your everyday? We often respond to sacred moments with a bowed head, a deep breath, a brief pause. Something in us knows the moment matters. Yet sometimes those intuitive gestures aren't enough. We long for more. A way to mark what is shifting and embrace what is unfolding within and around us. Sacred moments deserve our full presence. They call for ritual. At the heart of her book, Jean Culbertson Sutton offers tangible frameworks for creating and shaping your own rituals, for yourself and in groups with others. With warmth and clarity, she shares her story of discovering the limitless power of ritual gained from life immersed in another culture with her family, deep bonds of kinship, and seasons of grief and renewal.Paired with her background in theological studies and healing arts, Jean has encapsulated her decades of experience accompanying others through change, longing, and sacred discovery. She shares rituals she's created for herself, her family, friends, and gathered communities that mark meaningful moments in big and small ways, weaving sacred expression into the ordinary, into our everyday lives. These steps will help you create rituals that bring intention and soul to the moments that ask to be held not hurried. Throughout this book, you'll be invited to become a ritual keeper, carrying the sacred into the world in embodied, meaningful ways. In doing so, we don't just mark these sacred moments, we become their keepers. This item is printed on demand.
