Paperback. Peter Frankel left Colombia and immigrated to the US to escape a life of violence caused by mafia cartels and to live in a country where honesty was respected and the government protected its citizens. Working hard to build a good life, he was now the highly respected CEO of a major Florida insurance company with branches in nine states and subsidiaries in Latin America. He had three children who were the light of his life and a loving extended family. His father was his best friend and his business partner. Life was good. Then, in the blink of an eye, everything changes. The wanton destruction of the Twin Towers by the 9/11 terrorist attack sets in motion a series of events that ultimately puts him at the mercy of a corrupt politician bent on destroying him. Fighting against insurmountable odds, he learns firsthand the extent of corruption within America's legal and political system and the harm it can cause to the innocent. Based on a true story, Rightful Indignation tells a story of greed and power gone mad as Peter Frankel fights to save the company from him. It's a fight that ultimately tests everything he believes in. Helplessly, he watches as his company dries up financially and then finds himself accused of fabricated crimes by his adversary. In an effort to buy time and prove his innocence, he is forced to go into hiding for months in the Dominican Republic, constantly on the move to avoid detection. Along the way he meets good people who work to help him, but in the end, he must make great sacrifices to protect his family and get a life back. Rightful Indignation is a story of personal strength that reveals some terrible truths about the American Dream. This item is printed on demand.
