The Red Frontier is the first book of The Red Tomorrow series, a sprawling science fiction action adventure epic. Readers will meet iconic characters and explore with them a vast new world full of storytelling potential for years to come. Even fantasy readers will appreciate the deep lore and lived-in history of The Red Tomorrow that will gradually reveal itself over this book and the grand storyline of the series.
Expect intense adventure sequences akin to Indiana Jones and Uncharted, set against the lush and detailed space fantasy backdrop of the Dune series and Star Wars. The character archetypes are a nostalgic composite, echoing the rugged heroes of the American wild west, the space marines of Aliens and Starship Troopers, the futuristic super soldiers of Halo and Warhammer 40,000, and the classic heroism of medieval-era epic fantasy such as Lord of the Rings and the Wheel of Time. In addition, the series features exo-mechs, large humanoid mechs piloted by humans, akin to the Gundam, Mechwarrior, and Battletech.
There is something for all readers, but particularly for those who ready to jump into a new book series with a special emphasis on world-building and lore. Otherwise, this book is an incredible, fast-paced adventure all on its own. Readers will be transported to the world of Mars, 200 years from now. The Earth is gone, but the colonized Mars has several factions in constant war with each other. Readers will follow along with our main character Raymond Redmin, a man displaced from our own time in the 21st century Earth, as he accumulates allies from each of these disparate factions, and they embark on a treacherous adventure across the diverse and interesting landscapes of a future terraformed Mars.
Danger awaits at every turn of the page, but the parallel storylines begin to converge over the course of the story, culminating in an enormous battle sequence that feels straight out of a Hollywood blockbuster movie epic. This is a story about duty, honor, bravery in the face of the unknown, a coming of age, and love where it is least expected. The book is filled with several unexpected plot twists, character turns, intriguing cliffhangers, and surprising character developments. Just what is the Red Tomorrow? Join the adventure and discover for yourself. The Red Frontier is calling.
The Earth is gone, but our greatest adventure awaits.
Raymond Redmin, a doctor from the 21st century, suddenly awakens aboard a malfunctioning spaceship. He has no recollection of how or why he ended up here, hundreds of years in the future, crashing down to the planet Mars. It has apparently been 185 years since the Earth went "silent." The colonists of Mars have since created their own society. After centuries of war, the planet is now ruled by the utopian Zeltan Kingdom, a race of genetically engineered superhumans. However, all of the disparate factions of the planet are coming to descend upon the crash site of Raymond's ship. Although his sudden appearance may yield some answers as to what has happened to Earth, war threatens to engulf the nearby peaceful settlement town of Remnant on the red deserts of the Frontier.
Raymond, along with a fearless young woman of the Frontier, noble Zeltan supersoldiers, benevolent androids, a quick-drawing cowboy, and faithful robotic fox companion, they set off on a harrowing journey to prevent the ship's technology from falling into the wrong hands. Encountering menacing cyborg pirates, experimental hordes of the undead, savage evolved beasts of a treacherous dark forest, and giant robotic humanoid battle suits called exo-mechs, these heroes are the last hope for the red tomorrow...

Descripción de la tienda
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
