Most of our very good books have only minor imperfections such as shelf wear consistent with a new book that's sat on a bookshop shelf for a year or two. Occasionally we may miss other minor imperfections as we have to grade books at speed. Our books are dispatched from a Yorkshire former cotton mill. We list via barcode/ISBN so please note that the images are stock images and may not be the exact copy you receive, furthermore the details about edition and year might not be accurate as many publishers reuse the same ISBN for multiple editions and as we simply scan a barcode or enter an ISBN we do not check the validity of the edition data when listing. If you're looking for an exact edition please don't order (at least not without checking with us first, although we don't always have time to check). We aim to dispatch prompty, the service used will depend on order value and book size. We can ship to most countries, see our shipping policies. Payment is via Abe only.

Andrew May FCMI, Professional Manager, September 2002
‘Recruiting Excellence makes an excellent contribution to recruitment literature. It goes beyond the practical selection and recruitment process to explore the match between the candidate and the organisation’s strategicenvironment. This contains nuggets of useful information that should help attract, select and maintain quality employees.’
Professor Cary L. Cooper, BUPA Professor of Organizational Psychology and Health, UMIST & Director, Robertson Cooper Ltd. (a UMIST spin off business psychology consultancy)
‘This is a well-written and well-researched book that deals with the subject of recruitment and selection in a wide-ranging and exceptionally thorough manner. It takes a perspective that is both strategic and firmly business-focused, and offers many practical insights into the complexities of recruiting and keeping the best talent available.’
Professor Clive Fletcher, Managing Director of Personnel Assessment Ltd. Emeritus Professor of Psychology at Goldsmiths’ College, Visiting Professor at Henley Management College
‘Successfully recruiting leadership talent has to be one of the most critical activities of any organisation. This is a first class effort in bridging the enormous gulf between strategic rhetoric and operational reality.’
Chris Long, Partner, Whitehead Mann Consumer Division, London Office
‘Jeff Grout’s career industry expertise coupled with the clear writing style of Sarah Perrin deliver some timely lessons for all those engaged in recruitment. A compellingly argued book filled with strong ideas andpractical solutions.’
Richard Donkin, Author of Blood, Sweat and Tears, The Evolution of Work, Columnist for Financial Times
‘..whilst there’re lots of recruitment books around, this highly practical and pragmatic guide succeeds in putting it within the broader context of increasing a company’s value. It clearly reflects the depth of the authors’ experience and knowledge…’
