Acerca del autor
Dr. Damodar Maity is Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He has more than 150 research publications in journals and conference proceedings of national and international repute. His research area of interest includes computation mechanics, structural health monitoring, fluid-structure interaction. He has received two best paper awards from The Institution of Engineers (India). Prof. Maity is author of a book titled, “Computer Analysis of Framed Structures” published by I.K. International Pvt. Ltd. He has served as scientific/advisory board member of several international conferences. He served as secretary for The Indian Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics for three consecutive years. Prof. Maity has developed a video course on “Design of Steel Structures” and a web course on “Finite Element Analysis” under NPTEL, MHRD.
Dr. Chetan S. Mistry is Assistant Professor, Department of Aerospace Engineering, IIT Kharagpur. He has 19 years’ experience in teaching and research. He has done his graduation in Mechanical Engineering from REC, Surat (Presently NIT-Surat); Master of Engineering in Turbo Machinery from Mechanical Engineering Department of NIT, Surat; PhD. From IIT Bombay. His PhD thesis on “Experimental Investigation on the Performance of a Contra Rotating Fan Stage under Clean and Distorted Inflow Conditions” awarded with an “Award for Excellence in Thesis Work”, IIT Bombay in 2014. He is also recipient of “ASME- IGTI-Young Engineer Travel Award” in the year 2013. His area of research are Design and performance augmentation strategies for turbomachines, Experimental and CFD study of turbomachines, Contra rotating axial flow turbomachines aerodynamics, Electric propulsion as well as fluid mechanics & heat transfer, and experimental aerodynamics. Mohammad Saud Afzal is an assistant professor in the Department of Civil engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He is a young and dynamic researcher in the field of Hydraulics and water resources. His research area focuses on Computational Fluid Dynamics, Hydraulics of sediment transport, Coastal Engineering and machine learning and artificial intelligence in Hydraulics. He is an alumnus of IIT Kanpur, TU Delft and Norwegian university of science and Technology (NTNU). He is famous for his numerical analysis technique in the field of hydraulics and sediment transport. He is very famous for his work on Three-dimensional streaming in seabed boundary layer.
Dr. Ritwik Ghoshal is an Assistant Professor Department of Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He was a post-doctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS). He worked in Keppel-NUS Corporate Laboratory to develop a new methodology for designing economic station-keeping systems for Arctic Floaters in harsh environments. During his doctoral research he worked on developing mitigation strategies of explosion induced shock loading on structures using marine grade sandwich panels. His research works have been presented in various international conferences and published in leading peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.
Dipak Kumar Maiti is Professor and Former Head, Department of Aerospace Engineering at IIT Kharagpur, prior to which he has worked at ADA Bangalore as Scientist/Engineer and Department of Aerospace Engineering, IIT Bombay as Senior Research Engineer. He has published over 80 international journal papers, over 70 national and international conference papers, over 60 project reports, handled several research projects sponsored by ARDB, ADA, DST, ISRO, etc. of worth a few crores. So far, 10 research students have obtained their PhD degree under his supervision. Currently, 13 research students are pursuing their doctoral research work under his supervision. He has guided over 70 M.Tech students for their Master’s Projects and over 50 B.Tech students for their B.Tech Projects. His primary research areas are analysis of composite structures under static and dynamic loadings employing various higher-order shear deformation theories, damage modelling of isotropic and composite materials, smart structures, aeroelasticity/aeroservoelasticity, structural health monitoring, etc.
Dr. Prasun Jana is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering, IIT Kharagpur. He has worked with Indian Space Research Organization and General Electric, for a total of five years, inthe area of design and analysis of composite structures. He has also worked as an Assistant Professor in IIT Mandi and IIT Dhanbad. His research interests lie primarily in the use of computational mechanics to address some underlying questions of material modelling and structural design. Presently, he is working on the broad areas of aerospace structures, composites and functionally graded materials, vibration damping, and stability of structures.
Dr. Puneet Kumar Patra is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Kharagpur. Prior to this, he worked as a postdoctoral research scholar in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Mechanics, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. His research interests include non-equilibrium statistical mechanics, thermodynamics, molecular dynamics simulations and thermal transport characteristics in low dimensional systems. Heholds a PhD degree in Mechanics from IIT Kharagpur and a B.Tech. (H) degree in Civil Engineering also from IIT Kharagpur

Derecho al desistimiento

Derecho legal de desistimiento
Tiene derecho a rescindir este contrato en un plazo de 14 días sin dar ningún motivo.
El periodo de desistimiento vencerá a los 14 días desde que usted, o un tercero que no sea el transportista e indicado por usted, adquiera la posesión física del último bien o del último lote o pieza.
Para ejercer el derecho de desistimiento, complete de forma electrónica y envíe una declaración clara en nuestro sitio web, desde "Mis compras" en "Mi cuenta". Le enviaremos sin demora un acuse de recibo de dicho desistimiento a través de un soporte duradero (por ejemplo, por correo electrónico).
Para cumplir con el plazo de desistimiento, basta con que envíe su comunicación relativa al ejercicio del derecho de desistimiento antes de que venza el periodo de desistimiento.
Efectos del desistimiento
Si rescinde este contrato, le reembolsaremos todos los pagos que hayamos recibido de usted, incluidos los gastos de envío (excepto los gastos adicionales que surjan si elige un tipo de envío que no sea el tipo de envío estándar más económico que ofrecemos).
Podemos hacer una deducción del reembolso por la pérdida de valor de cualquier bien suministrado, si la pérdida es el resultado de una manipulación innecesaria por su parte.
Efectuaremos el reembolso sin demoras indebidas y, a más tardar, 14 días después de que se nos informe de su decisión de rescindir este contrato.
Efectuaremos el reembolso utilizando el mismo medio de pago que utilizó para la transacción inicial, a menos que haya acordado expresamente lo contrario; en cualquier caso, no incurrirá en ningún cargo como resultado de dicho reembolso.
Podremos retener el reembolso hasta que hayamos recibido los bienes o hasta que nos haya presentado una prueba de que los ha devuelto, lo que ocurra primero.
Deberá devolver los bienes o entregarlos a BuchWeltWeit Ludwig Meier e.K., Bergisch Gladbach, Germany, sin demoras indebidas y, en cualquier caso, en un plazo máximo de 14 días a partir del día en que nos comunique su desistimiento del presente contrato. El plazo se cumple si devuelve la mercancía antes de que venza el periodo de 14 días. Tendrá que asumir los gastos directos de devolución de los bienes. Usted solo es responsable de la disminución del valor de los bienes como resultado de una manipulación distinta a la necesaria para establecer la naturaleza, las características y el funcionamiento de los bienes.
Excepciones al derecho de desistimiento
El derecho de desistimiento no se aplica a lo siguiente:
- La entrega de periódicos, diarios o revistas, con la excepción de los contratos de suscripción; y
- El suministro de contenido digital que no se proporcione en un soporte tangible (por ejemplo, en un CD o DVD) si, al hacer el pedido, aceptó que podíamos empezar a entregarlo y que no podría desistir una vez iniciada la entrega.
