Your spouse has just died and you have lost your center of gravity. You face an echoing house and a mountain of unfamiliar tasks that you have no idea how to tackle. In fact, you feel like you’ve just endured an earthquake. The authors of Rebuilding Your Life After the Death of Your Spouse have been in your place--one recently and the other a few years ago. With compassion and understanding they relate how they faced the tremors, the aftershocks and the rebuilding phases of this new stage of life. In this quick read you’ll learn practical tips on everything from decisions about funeral services to creating a lasting memorial to your loved one; from learning to take care of yourself during the grieving process to discovering new purpose and renewed zest for life . . . eventually. As you follow the authors as they tick off the milestones during their own widowhood, you’ll laugh at some of the predicaments they faced, cry with them at the losses that echo your own and find the hope they discovered as they learned to start new lives.

Acerca del autor
Anne Tezon spent the first part of her career as a newspaper editor and publisher. While owning the Hamilton, Missouri newspaper she and her late husband began publishing memoirs for customers, after first publishing a memoir written by Anne’s mother. Even before the death of her husband in 2015, Anne began expanding her memoir business by publishing her own memoir, then helping others publish their fiction and non-fiction books. She also developed a unique system of legacy writing prompts that leads a person easily through the creation of a memoir. That system is called Memoir Making Kit. Anne lives in Kansas City, MO with two dogs and a cat and dotes on her only grandson. She can be contacted at personalchapters@gmail.com and her website is www.personalchapters.com. Craig Battrick is a business writer and editor with over 30 years of experience. In a sideline business, he also published five biographies and edited two other books. Originally from Oregon, Craig and his wife, Robin, moved to western Missouri in 2005. They hoped to retire on 50 acres of pasture land in Daviess County. Robin died of cancer in 2007 and in 2008, Craig married Cheri Weight Hardisty. Craig and Cheri now live in Utah but hope to return to Missouri “soon.” Craig can be reached by email at cjbattrick@gmail.com
