Neuware - For John, childhood was a battlefield-a fractured home, the shadow of abandonment, and the simmering anger of feeling unwanted. At just eleven years old, his rebellion brought him to Eastfield, a residential home for incorrigible youth. But what began as a sentence of confinement became a journey of transformation. Volume One takes readers inside John's five-year odyssey at Eastfield, a place where structure clashed with his defiance and vulnerability felt like weakness. Through moments of rebellion, rage, and unlikely connection, John confronts the pain of his past and discovers the power of trust, creativity, and resilience. From the garden he tended with a shy young boy to the mural that mapped his healing, John's story is a testament to the human capacity for growth and change. Guided by mentors, peers, and his own determination, he learns that redemption isn't about erasing the scars-it's about understanding them and choosing a new path forward. Compelling and heartfelt, Volume One is not just John's story. It's a story for anyone who has ever struggled to find their place, faced the weight of their past, or searched for hope in the midst of darkness. …
